Start fishing

Fishing Start

To start fishing, head to the Infobus Park and cast your line whenever you see a fish swimming by. This is your fishing spot until level 30. From there, move on to Port Hana, and once you hit level 70, head to Snouthill Pier for the ultimate fishing challenge.

The Fish Store

Fishing Start

As you fish, you’ll collect fish tokens that you can trade in for exclusive rewards, like special Fish furni or the iconic fishing hat (available in the Update Habbo details section). Keep in mind – the furni can’t be traded, so it’s yours to keep!

Golden Fish Mini-game

Fishing Start

While fishing, you might spot a rare Golden Fish. Catching one triggers a special mini-game that rewards you with bonus XP and extra fish tokens.

Fishing Badge

While fishing, you might randomly receive the exclusive Fishing Badge straight into your inventory. It’s non-tradable and can only be obtained once – a true mark of a dedicated angler!

Fishing Frenzy

At random times during the day, a Fishing Frenzy begins – for 10 minutes you’ll only catch Golden Fish! Make the most of this rare event to boost your XP and tokens.

Fishing Derby

Fishing Derby

Fishing Derbies are competitive fishing events where everyone competes with the same Derby-exclusive fish, catch chances, and weight ranges. Your regular fishing level does not give an advantage during an official derby.

When a derby is announced, a notification will appear in game. During the registration period, you can sign up via the Bob NPC in a public fishing room and choose your derby mode.

Official derbies take place in public fishing rooms, where every room uses identical Derby odds. You will receive live updates during the event and a final placement notification when it ends.

If you are not registered before the derby starts, your fishing progress will not be counted.

Types of Fishing Derbies

There are two derby modes: Standard and Frenzy. Private room derbies remain available as custom community events using the legacy standard format.

Standard Derby

  • Your ten heaviest catches are stored automatically.
  • Your final score is the combined weight of those catches.
  • Golden fish are shown as a statistic but do not add to the Standard score.

Frenzy Derby

  • Catch as many fish as possible before time runs out.
  • Every fish counts toward your score.
  • Golden fish count toward the Frenzy score.

Bottles

While fishing, you might randomly receive one of 10 unique Fishing Bottles straight into your hand. Each variant can only be collected once, and just like the furni, they’re non-tradable – true collector’s items!

Fish Statue

While fishing, you might unexpectedly receive one of three Fish Statues (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) right into your hand. Bronze can be found at the Infobus Park, Silver at Port Hana, and the rare Gold at Snouthill Pier. Like the bottles, they’re non-tradable trophies to show off your fishing skills.
