To start fishing, head to the Infobus Park and cast your line whenever you see a fish swimming by. This is your fishing spot until level 30. From there, move on to Port Hana, and once you hit level 70, head to Snouthill Pier for the ultimate fishing challenge.
As you fish, you’ll collect fish tokens that you can trade in for exclusive rewards, like special Fish furni or the iconic fishing hat (available in the Update Habbo details section). Keep in mind – the furni can’t be traded, so it’s yours to keep!
While fishing, you might spot a rare Golden Fish. Catching one triggers a special mini-game that rewards you with bonus XP and extra fish tokens.
While fishing, you might randomly receive the exclusive Fishing Badge straight into your inventory. It’s non-tradable and can only be obtained once – a true mark of a dedicated angler!
At random times during the day, a Fishing Frenzy begins – for 10 minutes you’ll only catch Golden Fish! Make the most of this rare event to boost your XP and tokens.
Fishing Derbies are competitive fishing events where anglers fish at the same time and compete for the highest fish count. All playstyles are welcome, whether you fish casually or go full sweat mode.
When a derby is announced, a notification will appear in game. During the registration period, you can sign up via the Bob NPC in any fishing room (Infobus park, Port Hanna or Snouthill Pier)
Once the derby begins, fish in the approved locations for that event. Only registered players and valid fishing spots will count toward the final score. You will receive live updates during the event and a final placement notification when it ends.
If you are not registered before the derby starts, your fishing progress will not be counted.
There are two different types of Fishing Derbies in the Hotel: Automated Fishing Derbies and EC Hosted Fishing Derbies.

While fishing, you might randomly receive one of 10 unique Fishing Bottles straight into your hand. Each variant can only be collected once, and just like the furni, they’re non-tradable – true collector’s items!
While fishing, you might unexpectedly receive one of three Fish Statues (Bronze, Silver, or Gold) right into your hand. Bronze can be found at the Infobus Park, Silver at Port Hana, and the rare Gold at Snouthill Pier. Like the bottles, they’re non-tradable trophies to show off your fishing skills.
